Our team is training faculty & students in different engg. colleges by conducting MATLAB workshops. We may be given about 8-14hrs (1 or 2 days) to conduct workshop on applications of MATLAB for various streams of Engg (ECE/ EEE/ Mech/ Civil / Chemical etc.,)/Mathematics/ physics.
I will be one of the best persons to introduce MATLAB to 'new learnenrs'/ beginners.
The workshop can be organized as FDP or for students of not only your college but also neighbouring colleges.
These
are useful for ppl who think that they have <= 2/10 knowledge in
that field. We will try to take the interested audience to a level of
5/10 (or increase their knowledge level by at least 2 points out of
10).
From
Govt. Inst. we don't want to take remuneration as far as possible..atleast during 1st visit.We wish to keep
education affordable and hence even the Pvt. inst can avail free
workshop
if they cannot afford.
Only interested ppl should attend the workshop. Whole event can be video recorded and can be used for non-commercial purposes.

Facilities needed:
Projector/ board to write/ audio jack to be connected to laptop with
speakers & a Laptop with MATLAB installed(Windows version).

Please
don't waste money for decoration/ banner making etc.,I am a pure
vegetarian so I avoid eating at places where they cook other items. I
don't want luxurious accommodation. I can adjust in boys
hostel also or with students/ faculty who r staying as Bachelors outside
the campus=> I am available to boys & faculty even during
evening time if they want to share more info regarding projects/ other
mathematical subjects/ GATE/ Career guidance etc..In case of colleges
near Hyd.. accommodation may not be needed. Further, I mean..you need
not spend any thing specially in making
arrangements for me.
Whenever
I visit colleges for 2 day program.. I prefer to visit near by 1 or 2
high schools (preferably telugu/ hindi medium.. govt. ..vegetarian) also
and spend there about 2 hrs to teach 'Mathematical Magics & basic
science demos'..School Children program should not be charged. If u know
nearby govt. high school (probably children of ur college attenders r
studying there!!)..try to get prior permission

Plz see that no one takes 'commercial advantage' in the name of this workshop. Earlier I came across some colleges which r so bad that they took money from participants without my knowledge while I took no money for teaching. If there is any entry fee u r charging..it should be affordable/ reasonable and should be informed to the resource person in advance...prior to announcing to 'participants'.

can have hands on if ur inst. has matlab installed in sufficient no.
computers at one place and if space is enough in the lab with projector
& board facility. Else, I will be showing the demos in the seminar
hall where ppl. will be listening /writing and clarifying doubts.
What we need: Interested audience! (self-driven...and not bcoz someone forces students ..by saying that they will get/ not get attendance etc.,). Good
public addressing system (with at least 2 mikes)/ System with MATLAB
installed/ Projector/ audio jack to connect to laptop. I cannot tolerate
indiscipline. Audience are supposed to be in college uniform or in
formal dress (This I am saying bcoz..sometimes ..it is happening these
days..that current generation don't know how to come to class). Mobiles
& other such gadgets to be avoided as far as possible bcoz..that is a
disturbance factor( in case of students). While coming to class..each
student can bring 1 notebook & 2 pens.

Please
inform all the students/ faculty well in advance about the program
& please circulate the syllabus too..so that maximum ppl get
motivated to utilize the workshop.
Please inform me the timing schedule for both the days (19th & 20th...start time..brake time,..closing time).
You
need not do any food arrangements. Being core vegetarian..I will look
out for some pure veg. hotel and eat there. else ..u may provide me 2 or
3 banana (indian fruits).
As mentioned already..you need not waste money in providing luxurious facilities to me (though it is a big univ. & can spend money!). I
can adjust in non-ac boys hostel or faculty's house who might be
staying as bachelor. No need of money wastage for decorations/ banners.
Rather..if you intend to spend money on those..then I say..it is better
you convert it into a Cheque and give me bcoz I will use it for better
cause..buying train ticket to go & give a free guest lecture at
some other college.
I
will try to visit near by Granthaalay (biggest library of your city),
some temples/ science museum and if possible you can assist me in
guiding me to reach those places. If you know any near by govt. school (8th/ 9th/ 10th students), then you can help me in visiting that school on 20th or 21st.

Project report should be made by taking double-sided print out only and
with normal binding (As done by IITs and many other colleges in
Tamilanadu etc.,). B a part of this mission to save more than Rs. 100
crores for our country per year.
